Gautam Sahakari Bank Ltd. Was Established on 22nd April 1976 for Farmers & Weaker Sections in Ahilyanagar district. The bank has maintained its mission of helping the weaker sections of the society and carved out its place not only for the classes but also as a bank for the masses. Gautam Sahakari Bank Ltd., kolpewadi provides all the Financial services includes Savings accounts, Current accounts, Fixed deposit accounts, Agricultural loans.

Gautam Sahakari Bank Ltd. Is making steady progress and stakeholders, customers, employees and well-wishers are an integral part of this progress. Their participation and contribution is immense. Today, the Bank has a Network of 7 branches across Ahilyanagar and Nashik District.

Founder:

In the economic progress of the society, the co-operative movement, especially the co-operative banks and its citizens, has made it easy for the general public to finance their own progress. Co-operative banks have a long way to go in accepting deposits from customers and making money available to loan seekers and thereby developing the people in the working area.

The main objective of the establishment of the bank is to nurture the virtues of self-reliance, savings cooperation and affection among the general public. At the workplace of Kopargaon Cooperative Sugar Factory Founder of Koska Industries Group, Former Minister of State for Education [State of Maharashtra], Former MP, Late Hon'ble Shri Shankarrao Devram Kale Saheb on 22/4/1976 Established the bank. In ancient times, the region on the banks of the river Godavari was inhabited by the sage Gautam Dandakaranya, hence the name Gautam Sahakari Bank. On March 14, 1977 Started.

The late Shankarraoji Kale Saheb has guided us since the establishment of the bank. The late Shankarrao Kale gave us guidance on how to be an ideal co-operative bank. As received from Saheb, our bank has become famous not only in Ahilyanagar district but also in Maharashtra. The financial condition of the bank as on 31/03/2020 is as under.
