A Current Account is designed for business and institutional operations. It can be opened by Individuals, Firms, Societies, Companies, and Government departments. There is no limit on the number of transactions in a day.
The account must maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 2500/- at rural centers and Rs. 5000/- at urban centers. Personalized cheque books are issued to account holders.
No interest applicable on Current Accounts.
